The story behind the frames
Ricardo Nordica was founded in 1994 by two curious, young entrepreneurs with big visions. As pioneers in the industry, they sourced their first frames from Asia. They were packed in a small basement in Kungsbacka before being shipped to customers. Years have passed, and the company is now a well-established business with an experienced sales team, a creative and responsive purchasing team, and dedicated support.
With new visions, clear goals, a digitalization process, and a focus on both product and brand development, the company has continued to grow steadily.
Ricardo's goal is to offer independent opticians security in both product and support; our motto has always been to make it easy, easy to be an independent optician.
BERGFOTSGATAN
Ricardo has its roots in Gothenburg – and that's where our heart still is. Our office and warehouse on Bergfotsgatan are the hub of our entire operation. Everything happens here, from warehousing, order picking and purchasing to support, marketing and design - we make it easy.
Bringing all functions under one roof allows us to work closely together and always maintain the highest quality in every step – from idea to final delivery. At Bergfotsgatan, commitment, knowledge and creativity meet, and this is where we build on Ricardo's journey every day.
